Royal Sonesta was a jewel, on Bourbon St, very elegant, FBO rate about the same as the Hampton.

Holiday Inn Express (indoor pool, no Jacuzzi) closest to airport. Bob Evans, Walgreens, Maijors and great little dinner place called Lion's Inn (opens 11:00)
SFO Doubletree was nice and just about the cheapest, Room Service was delicious, transportation available
Sainte Claire.FBO rate is $69 - DVD player and Boston Acoustics radio in room. Free internet. Great exercise room

Hyatt Place was really great. Room was a suite. Their shuttle will transport to Olive Garden.
Airport Radisson was poor, next door to Garden Inn. Embassy Suites 15 minutes from airport, free shuttle, $95! Many restaurants nearby.
Hampton in town is nice, crew cars overnight. Next door to Target
Best Western has great pool and tons of places to eat within walking distance. Also really cheap (in the summer).
